10 Creating raster objects
This chapter describes the WiseImage tools used to draw on raster images of
different types – monochrome, grayscale, and color.
By using pixel editing tools, you can draw line segments, open polygons and
arbitrary curves of a specified width. If you work with monochrome images, then
these tools also allow you to draw with the background color, enabling you to erase
an image. If you work with color or grayscale images, then you can select a color
(grey tone) to use for drawing.
Floodfilling and erasing by floodfilling tools can only work on monochrome images
and you allow you to fill raster areas within closed outlines and to erase isolated
raster objects.
Rasterization is the main tool used to create raster objects. Using this tool you can
insert a raster copy of any AutoCAD vector object in the raster image of any type.
You can control the line widths and the color of created objects.
