for future reference.
Parental responsibility
This product complies with the requirements of
the EN71, CPSIA and CCC standards. If used as
intended, any risk during play can be largely ruled
out. However, bear in mind that a child’s tempera-
ment and natural instinct for play may result in
unforeseen situations and risks for which the
manufacturer cannot be held responsible. You
should therefore instruct children and other
users on how to use the product properly and
make them aware of possible dangers.
Caution is advisable when riding on the Junior
Runner, as a certain amount of skill is required to
avoid falls or collisions, which could result in injury
to the user or other people. Watch small children
while they are playing with the product and never
leave them unsupervised.
Warnings
The Audi Junior Runner is only approved for one
child at a time. Maximum gross weight: 50 kg.
Maximum height of child: 140 cm. Children must
wear enclosed shoes. Long shoelaces can become
caught in the wheels. It is strongly recommended
that children wear helmets.
Make sure there is a sufficiently large and suitable
area to practise in where there are no steep down-
hill inclines, ledges, steps, etc. The product may
not be ridden in the vicinity of flights of steps,
hillsides, sloping terrain, swimming pools or other
bodies of water. If there is a flight of steps nearby,
precautions must be taken to ensure that children
are not able to ride up or down them under any
circumstance.
In the rain, traction, braking and visibility are
impaired. The risk of an accident or injury is signi-
ficantly higher in wet weather.
Road traffic
The Audi Junior Runner should only be used in
suitable play areas and protected spaces. The
Junior Runner does not meet road traffic licensing
regulations (such as the StVZO in Germany) and
may not therefore be used on public highways and
thoroughfares (e.g. footpaths and roads).

Every six months (or more often as appropriate if
the product is played with frequently), check all
parts for possible signs of wear and check that
all screws are properly tightened. To maintain
the high standard of safety built into the design,
any worn or damaged parts must be immediately
