Setting silent mode

In the home screen,
t
→ [Settings]

[Sound] → Mark "Silent mode"
◎ You can press and hold
p
for one second or more, tap [Silent
mode] to turn it on or off.
◎ The shutter tones, start and end tones in video photography,
playing music sound and alarm sound even when silent mode is
set.
Turning on the screen lock authentication
You can lock the screen, so other people cannot use it, by
setting an authentication pattern/PIN/password to release
the lock.

→ [Settings]

[Location and security] → [Set screen lock]

[Pattern]/[PIN]/[Password]
To cancel screen lock setting, tap [None].
