Attaching/removing the au IC-Card
• Before attaching/removing the au IC-Card, first turn the
ISW11SC off, and remove the battery pack.

Remove the battery pack and cover, then
with the IC (metal) side down, insert the au
IC-Card at the orientation shown all the way
into the card slot

Remove the battery pack and cover, then
holding the au IC-Card with your fingertip
slide forward to remove
◎ Note the following points, which may cause malfunction or
damage, when handling the au IC-Card.
•
Do not touch the IC (metal) part of the au IC-Card or the IC
card terminal inside the ISW11SC.
•
Insert the au IC-Card in the correct direction.
•
Do not use force to attach or remove the au IC-Card.
◎ If an au IC-Card is not inserted,
appears and making/
receiving calls or communications cannot be performed.
Emergency call to 110 (Police), 119 (Fire institution), 118
(Regional Coast Guard Headquarters) is not available, either.
◎ Do not lose the au IC-Card after it has been removed.
Charging
When you purchase your terminal, the battery pack is not fully
charged. Be sure to charge the battery pack before use.
