7 Servicing of the installation
Before carrying out any work, ensure that the general
electrical power supply is switched off.
The boiler must be serviced regularly to maintain high
its output. Depending on the operating conditions, the
servicing operation is to be carried out once or twice a
year.
7.1 Servicing of the gas heat exchanger
(see figure 64 ).
- Switch off the electrical power supply to the appliance.
- Close the gas supply valve.
- Remove the front panel of the heat pump.
Dismantling the chamber door:
- Disconnect the gas unit from the gas supply.
- Disconnect the fan connectors.
- Remove the gas igniter.
- Disconnect the electrode cables and the earth cable.
- Pull out the adaptor sheath (1 collar) on the fan.
- Loosen the chamber door nuts.
- Remove the assembly.

Make sure that you do not apply any impact to
the electrodes and the burner.
- Clean the exchanger's tubular wiring using a synthetic
brush.
- Clean the combustion chamber.
- Remove the cleaning residue that has built up in the
combustion chamber.
- Remove the end piece from the fan and clean the
dust from the fan. If there is a heavy build up of dust,
clean the turbine Do not forget to replace the O ring
between the end piece and the fan.
- Brush the burner grills gently if necessary.
- Check the spacing and position of the electrodes
( figure 65 ).
- Refit all of the parts correctly.
- Make sure that the boiler's burnt gas circuit is
leakproof.
- Check that the connectors are correctly tightened.
- Open the gas valve, drain the pipes and check the
seal upstream of the gas unit.
7.2 Checking the hydraulic circuit

Caution, if you need to fill the circuit frequently
you must look for any leaks.
If you need to fill up and reset the pressure,
check the type of fluid used initially.
Recommended filling pressure: between 1 and 2 bars
(the exact filling pressure is determined according to the
installation's manometric head).

Each year.
- Check the expansion circuit pressure (pre-inflation of
1 bar) and the correct operation of the safety valve.
- Check the safety unit on the domestic cold water inlet.
Run it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Check the disconnector.
- Check the correct operation of the directional valve.
