To change your actual booting configuration files use this commands:

Specify the booting image file name.

boot config AsGOS.conf
Specify the booting configuration file name.
AsGOS (config)# exit
Exit from configuration mode.

Write
Save your changes into permanent memory.

# boot info
Display the booting configuration.
Config file: AsGOS.conf
Image file: asgos-er1.1.bin

3.15 Configuring System Logs
All system actions can be logged in an internally file for future analysis. All Log files when
created and activated are
first stored into RAM and must be explicitly copied to flash by the
user
. Log can be sent to a standard output or a sys log server.
AsGOS(config)#log?
file Logging to file
record-priority Log the priority of the message within the message
stdout Logginggoes to stdout
syslog Logginggoes to syslog
trap Limit logging to specified level

3.15.1 System Log Configuration
Logging is enabled each time that you specify a logging method. When enable you can send
messages to specific locations in addition to the console. Under privileged EXEC mode, use one or
more of the following commands to specify the locations that receive messages:
