The Status Pages
The S571 status screens are this unit's one-stop informational source. Most of the information that a user would
need to know about the unit is displayed on these screens. This section outlines the different status screens and
highlights why they are useful.
The Web Interface also has various Status Screens under the Status Tab. The screens discussed below are
accessed via the Command Interface.
General Status
You reach this status screen by typing STATUS or ? at the command prompt followed by <Enter>.

This indicates that this product is the S571 and is followed by
2.10.150 STD,
which is the currently loaded firmware
version.
Site Name
This field displays the identifier assigned to this S571 by the end user in the
the units factory assigned Serial Number.
Date
and
Time
These two fields display the current date and time. The Date and Time can be set in the General Settings menu
under the
Modem
This field indicates whether an optional wireless modem is installed. It will indicate "Yes" if the POTs modem is
installed. It will indicate "None" if no modem or if a Wireless modem card is installed.
Eth 1
and
Eth 2
These fields display STATIC, DHCP, or VLAN, depending on which mode each of the two Ethernet interfaces is
configured for. The settings can be configured in the Network Settings menu under
IP Add
and
MAC Add
immediately following Eth 1 and Eth 2 are the network IP address assigned to each
Ethernet card, and that cards MAC address. The MAC address of both Ethernet cards can also be found on the
unit’s serial number label.
IPv6
These field will display OFF, STATIC or AUTO to indicate how the Ethernet Ports are configured. Use the
Menu in the Network Settings section to adjust the settings.
