2.1.15.2. DEFINITIONS
Surveillance status.
It is the normal status, during which the recloser “monitors” for the occurrence
of any trips that should start its operation.
Ongoing cycle status.
This is the status for the active operation of the recloser from the first trip up to
the moment when the breaker has been closed and the reclaim time has
elapsed (successful reclosing) or when all the pre-programmed attempts to
restore energy to the line have been unsuccessfully executed. In the first
instance it moves on to “surveillance” and in the second one it moves to
“definitive trip”.
