Using Shutter

Shutter is installed as
explained on page 65.
Push release pin (picture
45).

Turn front handle to
obtain beam shape
required (see picture
46).

Caution: Danger of
overheating!
Never
operate lamphead
with shutter fully
closed.

Caution: Hot Sur-
face!
Shutter may
reach temperatures
of up to 200°C
(390°F). Always
keep a minimum
safety distance, all
around, of 0.7 m
(28”) from people,
animals and flam-
mable material.

Caution: Reduced
tilt angle!
With shut-
ter in place, maxi-
mum tilt angle is
reduced to 45°
downwards. Never
point lamphead
straight down while
shutter is installed!

To adjust friction
between inner and outer
tube of shutter,
tighten/loosen hexago-
nal nut on shutter’s top.
REMOVING THE
(HOT) SHUTTER
I
Caution: Hot sur-
face!
Operating
lamphead may heat
up milled knob (see
picture 41) to such
an extent that it can
not be touched with-
out heat protection
e.g. gloves.

Loosen milled knob
(see picture 41).

Push front handle of
shutter to lock inner and
outer tube (see picture
47).

Turn shutter to the
left (i.e. anti-clockwise)
by approx. 20°.

Take shutter off with
a straight linear move-
ment (see picture 48).
