Changing the Gravity Code
If the scale’s gravity code needs to be changed (for examplae, the lift needs to be moved to a
different region or country), follow these instructions:
1) Access to the “Gravity Configuration Mode”:
• With the handset, push down simultaneously on both buttons just below the display, as
well as the DPS “recline” button (see figure below). While keeping the buttons pressed,
turn the unit on by pressing on the main switch and hold the buttons down until a beep is
heard.
2) Adjust the gravity code:
• After 10 seconds, the display will indicate the gravity code with
which the unit was initially verified, or the code the unit is presently
configured with (e.g. 00).
• Use the list of codes by country found in the gravity adjustment table
(page 17) to identify which code to configure the instrument with.
• To modify the displayed code, use the following buttons:
Note: Changing the gravity code will void the certification and the scale will need to
be verifying by an authorized notified body before being put back in service.
