SP5-Scale Calibration
14) Turn off the power supply switch on the
communication tool.
15) Disconnect the load cell from the power
supply, connect it back to the hoist and
reinstall the top cover (make sure that no
components create any mechanical
interference between the load cell and
any part of the hoist). Replace the two
screws on the cover.
16) Remove all weight from the sling and
press the power button to turn the unit on.
17) Verify the calibration (see “SP3 - Scale
Verification”
section
).
18) If the calibration is beyond the tolerance
range, repeat the calibration procedure
starting from step 1.
19) If calibration is correct, enter the
Counter menu (see “SP1 - Counter
Verification” section) and note the
calibration counter
value. Apply a new
calibration label on the scale marking
label with the corresponding value.
The scale must be verified by an authorized
notified body before being put back in
service (for European Community only).
