Preparations
Actions before the first use
1 Visually check the package for damage.
If the product is suspected to be damaged make a
complaint to the delivery agency and contact the
Calypso product sales office.
2 The packaging should be recycled according to
local regulations.
3 Check that all parts of the product are supplied.
Compare with the product description in this
manual. If any part is missing or damaged - do
not use the product!
4 Mounting of the enclosed spacer:
The spacer that is mounted on Calypso when
delivered, is adapted to the depth of Arjo-
Huntleigh Bath Systems.
For deeper baths only: To get a deeper immer-
sion, remove one of the two mounted spacers on
Calypso
Be careful not to damage the surface of the tub.
5 Unpack the battery charger. See “installation and
charging batteries”.
6 Charge each battery for 24 hrs.
7 Clean the product according to ”cleaning instruc-
tions”.
8 Find a dry area, dry with good ventilation for
storing the lift.
9 Choose a designated area, where the operating
manual should be kept, accessible at all times for
the user.s
