WARNING:
For width measurement application, the analog mode should be set to width even if the
controller is not equipped with an analog output port.
WARNING:
Analog mode cannot be changed if the controller cannot provide the appropriate output.
Analog setup
The controller can be programmed to provide the zero scale value or full scale value by pressing the
appropriate button. This functionality is useful while calibrating a legacy system. After calibration the
controller can be switched back to normal operation by clicking on the Normal Op button. The polarity of the
analog output can also be changed by pressing the polarity icon. When the polarity icon is pressed the value
would be inverted from the full scale value.
NOTE:
The controller will switch back to normal operation as soon as the user leaves the analog setup
screen.
Password Setting
This screen allows the power user to enable or disable the
password protected for both the power user screen access
and operator sensor screen access. Pressing the button will
toggle the password enable/disable option. When the
locked icon is displayed, the password for the respective
screen will be enabled.
NOTE:
Please contact the factory for the passwords for the
respective screens.
NOTE:
The passwords for the respective screens cannot be
changed. However, if a custom 4 digit password can be
created with a customer firmware change.
Communication Setting
Ethernet
The ethernet ON/OFF button shows the state of the
ethernet communication. This switch cannot change the
state and is used only for viewing.
DHCP
If the DHCP is set to ON the SCU5 controller (client device)
will get the IP address from a network server or a router.
The IP address, and other network parameters, would be
assigned dynamically and may change after a power cycle
if the server or router initiates the change. When the DHCP
