Remove hardware retaining gearcase cover and
remove cover.

Remove gasket and drain gearcase.
6.
Remove bushing retainer from gearcase. See
Figure 126.
Press auger shaft through the right side of gearcase.
NOTICE:
DO NOT strike auger shaft end; use a press.
8.
Remove seal, bushing and washer from auger shaft.
9.
With a flathead screwdriver or similar pry bar, remove
front seal cover and discard. See Figure 128.
