Remove Traction Drive Idler Assembly

IMPORTANT: 

Save all hardware for reinstallation.

1.

Stop engine, remove key and wait for all moving parts 
to stop and for hot parts to cool.

2.

Disconnect spark plug wire from engine.

3.

Remove attachment drive idler assembly. See 

Remove Attachment Drive Idler Assembly

 on page 17.

Remove hairpin and flat steel washer from traction 
drive idler arm.

5.

Remove traction drive cable from idler arm.

6.

Remove roll pin, attachment idler arm hub and front 
torsion spring from drive idler pivot rod.
