CONFIGURATION METHOD

A touch-control keypad and a liquid crystal display (LCD) mounted
on the front panel of the RAID subsystem is the primary operation-
al interface and monitor display for the disk array controller. This
user interface controls all configuration and management functions
for the RAID subsystem controller and for all or SATA disk array
subsystems to which it is properly connected.
The LCD provides a system of screens with areas for information,
status indication, or menus. The LCD screen displays up to two
lines at a time of menu items or other information.
The Initial screen as the following:

Up Arrow Use to scroll the cursor Upward/Rightward
Down Arrow Use to scroll the cursor Downward/Leftward
ENT Key Submit Select ion Function (Confirm a selected Item)
ESC Key Return to Previous Screen (Exit a selection configuration)

The four function keys at the button of the front panel perform the
following functions:
There are a variety of failure conditions that cause the RAID sub-
system monitoring LED to light. Following Table provides a sum-
mary of the front panel LED and Enclosure LED.
