The basic MPTS parameters are first configured. These parameters are listed below
with a short explanation:
Network Id
Set the Network Identification tag
TS Id
Set the Transport Stream Identification tag
Enable EIT
Enable EIT regeneration.. When enabled the EIT
for all the services added to this MPTS output will
be regenerate and added to the MPTS output.
If the case that the IP MPTS stream is to be converted to QAM modulation further
down the signal chain it is possible to add the QAM parameters which then will be
added into the NIT. Check the NIT Generation check box and enter the QAM
parameters.
Frequency
Set the carrier frequency in MHz
Inner FEC
Valid inner FEC values are 1/2, 2/3, 3/4,5/6,
7/8, 8/9, 3/5, 4/5 or 9/10
Modulation
Modulation type can be 16-QAM, 32-QAM, 64-
QAM, 128-QAM or 256-QAM
Symbol Rate
Set the Symbol Rate of the QAM Modulator
Outer FEC
Enable outer FEC
Tick the
Import TS PIDs
box to configure PIDs not signaled in the transport stream.
Then enter the parameters.
Slot
The slot position of the input module containing the PID to be forwarded
Input
Enter an integer number for the input port. Port A = 0, Port B = 1, Port C
= 2 and Port D = 3.
