How to save battery power

Tap

Start > Settings > System

tab

> Power

or just tap the battery icon (

) on the Today

screen.

Tap the

Advanced

to set up when the device turns off.

[Note]

It is recommended to set 3 minutes or less for optimum conservation. Also note that it is

recommended to use the AC adapter especially when a Mini SD card or a modem is in use.

How to set the GPS

Tap

Start > Settings > System screen

tab.

Tap

GPS

icon.

When you tap GPS icon, the following 3 setup tabs appear.

Programs

tab

Choose the port that programs will use to obtain GPS data.

Any program that uses GPS will need to communicate with this port.

●

Hardware

tab

The default value for GPS Hardware port is set to

COM6

and the default value for Baud rate is set to 9600bps.

●

Access

tab

Windows Mobile manages access to your GPS device and allows multiple programs to obtain

GPS data simultaneously. If you clear this check box, some programs may not be able to

obtain GPS data. It is recommended that you select the check box for

Manage GPS

automatically
