8. 3 Viewing Slide Shows with PowerPoint Mobile

With

PowerPoint Mobile

, you can open and view slide show presentations created on your PC.

You can see Slide shows in

*.ppt

and

*.pps

format created using PowerPoint '97 and later in

PowerPoint Mobile. The device shows many presentation elements built into the slide shows

such as slide transitions and animations. In case that presentation is set up as a timed slide

show, then one slide will advance to the next automatically. The device also supports Links to

URLs.

PowerPoint Mobile on the device does not support the following functions.

• Notes

: Notes written for slides are not visible.

• Rearranging or editing slides

: PowerPoint Mobile is a viewer only.

• Some file formats

: PowerPoint Mobile does not support files created in

*.ppt

format earlier

than PowerPoint '97 and HTML files in

*.htm

and

*.mht

formats.

How to view a slide show presentation

Tap

Start > Programs > PowerPoint Mobile

Tap the desired slide show in the presentation list.

To advance to the next slide, tap the current slide.

To navigate between slides, tap

> Next

Previous

, or tap

Go to Slide

and tap the desired

slide. In case that the presentation is set up as a timed slide show, slides will advance

automatically.

[Note]

While zoomed in, you need to zoom out to navigate to another slide.

Tapping Next or Previous may play an animation on a slide rather than navigate to another

slide.

How to stop a slide show
