3.7 Cable Test
The Ethernet Cable Test uses Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) to
validate and detect open and short CAT5/CAT5E cables. This test is
useful for installing and troubleshooting cables.
3.7.1 Cable Test Setup
Up to eight Cable tests can be added to the test schedule in Test
Automator. Each test has its own set of parameters. To setup the Cable
test, press the

Press the Set key to display the port selector pop-up.

Use the Up and Down arrow keys to select the test port and set the port
using the Set key.
