8 TROUBLESHOOTING
The problems and solutions listed in the table do not provide all the possible information on the faults or malfunctions
that may occur during installation and operation.
Any repairs that require precise technical expertise or special skills must only be performed at an authorised service
centre.
Contact your nearest technical service centre for more information.

The electric motor will not start
Incorrect power supply
Check that the power supply and the load
factor correspond to the values indicated
on the motor’s data plate
Incorrect electrical connection of the motor
to the power supply line
Check that the connection corresponds to
the wiring diagram (see “Electrical system
connection“)
Damaged rotor Replace the rotor (1)
Damaged rotor bearings Replace the bearings (1)
The electric motor overheats
Insufficient ventilation for the motor
Check that the flow of air is not obstructed

The electric motor is overloaded Reduce the load
The pump does not reach the
specified pressures
The pump takes in air Restore the seal on the intake line
Insufficient intake flow rate
Increase the size of the intake lines
Remove any kinks in the lines
