3 SAFETY INFORMATION
General safety warnings
Most workplace accidents and injuries are caused
by failure to comply with common sense and safety
rules.
In most cases, accidents can be avoided by predicting
their possible causes and proceeding with the
necessary care and attention.
An operator who is careful and attentive is the best
guarantee against accidents.
Before installing the electric pump and using the
machine to which it is connected, the operators and
other staff must read and understand the instructions
in this manual and the design details for installation.
To prevent serious risks to the operators’ safety, do
not modify the electric pump.
Turn off the power supply when the machine is
unattended.
To avoid potential injury, do not point the high
pressure jet towards tyres, tyre valves or other
pressurised components.
Do not release pollutants into the environment.
Dispose of materials that are potentially hazardous
for the environment in accordance with statutory
waste disposal requirements.
Before performing any procedure, adopt appropriate
safety measures in accordance with the relevant
statutory occupational safety requirements and
comply with the safety information in the manual.
