N.B.: at first switch-on, preheat as appropriate.
1- Turn on the gas supply tap.
2 - Press the knob and turn it anti-clockwise (pos.

while at the same time pressing the piezoelectric
ignition knob (

) repeatedly to light the pilot light.
Keep the knob pressed for about 15sec. to prime
the thermocouple.
N.B.: the pilot light can also be lit by hand through the
hatch (B).
3 - Turn the knob anti-clockwise (pos.
b
) to between
100°C and 300°C and wait for the oven to warm
up before using it (see table.
Turning off
4 - Turn the knob clockwise (pos.
c
) to turn the burner
off.
N.B.: the pilot light will remain on to allow the burner to
be re-lit.
5 - Turn the knob clockwise (pos.
d
) to turn off the pi-
lot light.
6 - Turn off the knob to ensure safety.
If the appliance is to be out of use for a lengthy period,
proceed as follows:
1- turn off the gas supply tap;
2 - clean the appliance and the surrounding areas
thoroughly;
3 - spread a film of edible oil over the stainless steel
surfaces;
4 - carry out all the servicing procedures;
5 - cover the appliance, leaving a few gaps to allow
air to circulate.
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the following
rules should be adopted:
– use only the accessories recommended by the
constructor;
– take care not to scratch or chip the surface of the
plate, to ensure maintenance of its characteristics
and hygienic cooking;
– take care not to pour water onto the griddle when
hot, since the temperature difference might dam-
age the surface of the cooking plate;
– check that the oven bottom plate is positioned cor-
rectly;
– check that the inspection hatch is closed;
– allow the oven to warm up before using it;
– do not use the oven with the door part open;
– when cooking in the oven, use the top guides for
cakes and the bottom guides for roasts.
