6. Quick Bread
The programme will knead, rise and bake the loaf within a shorter period of time than
the basic bread programme. The bread baked on this setting is usually smaller with a
more dense texture. The rising agent for quick breads are bicarbonate of soda and
baking powder. The Quick function is mainly used for recipes such as the chocolate and
banana loaf.
Recipe: Banana and Chocolate Chip Bread

Note:
Place chocolate chips directly into the baking tin, not into the ingredients drawer.
Note:
Chocolate chips should be put directly into mixture as they will melt if they are put
into the dispenser.
After ten minutes pause the machine and scrape down the excess mixture from the
sides of the bread pan. Also turn the mixture over from the bottom of the appliance
using a plastic/ silicone spatula, this will ensure no raw flour is left.
