1 Safety
First
Follow appropriate safety procedures before applying power to
the instrument. Make sure the manual sample valves are
closed, check for leaks in the cabinet, ensure the purge is
working or the area is non-hazardous.
2 Valve
Control
The Valve Control Switch on the front door indicates whether
automatic valve control is enabled or valves are forced closed.
If you do not want the valves to open when power is restored,
turn the Valve Switch to the CLOSE position.
3
Local/Remote
The Local/Remote Control Switch on the front door determines
whether control of the RUN and STOP and CalSet selection is
performed remotely or locally. If you want to control the system
from the Touch Panel, move the switch to the LOCAL position.
4 Apply
Power
The Touch Panel Display will start loading the analyzer
program. After about 50 seconds, the Main Screen will be
displayed.
5
Stop Analysis
The analyzer may have been in RUN mode when power was
removed. Turn the Local/Remote switch to the LOCAL position
and press the STOP button to ensure the system will not
analyze until you are ready.
