10.1.4 Replacing Parts
Other spare parts can be replaced, with the power off, by carefully
disconnecting and labeling all wires. Next, remove the broken part and replace it
with the new part, reconnecting all wires before reapplying power. A list of
recommended spare parts can be found at the end of this chapter.
Use only AMETEK approved components to repair the AMETEK analyzer.
Warning: Substitution of non-approved components may impair the
analyzer safety and suitability for areas classified as hazardous.
10.2 Controller Update

10.2.1 Updating the PLC Software
Procedure to Transfer Program to S7-1200 series PLC with SD Card
To insert a memory card, open the top
CPU door and insert the memory card in
the slot. A push-push type connector
allows for easy insertion and removal.
The memory card is keyed for proper
installation.
WARNING
Verify that the CPU is not actively running a process before inserting the memory card.
Inserting a memory card will cause the CPU to go to STOP mode, which could affect the
operation of an online process or machine.
Before inserting a memory card, always ensure that the CPU is offline and in a safe state.
To transfer the program to a CPU, follow these steps:
1. Insert the transfer card into the CPU (see above graphic). If the CPU is in RUN, the
CPU will go to STOP mode. The maintenance (MAINT) LED flashes to indicate that the
memory card
needs to be evaluated.
2. Power-cycle the CPU to evaluate the memory card.
3. After the rebooting and evaluating the memory card, the CPU copies the program to
