SPOT Actuator
Item Description
1 Temperature Profile display. Double click at a position on the graph
to move the actuator to that position. If the direction of movement
does not correspond with your application, you can switch the
direction from the Display Settings screen (Button 5).
2 SPOT temperature display. Double click on this window to open the
SPOT Thermometer’s own webserver interface.
The SPOT thermometer must be running Version 1020 firmware
or later to be used with an Actuator. A firmware update package is
available from www.landinst.com.
The ‘Scan’ option on the I/O menu of the SPOT thermometer must
be set, and the 4 mA and 20 mA temperature limits matched to those
of the actuator to enable correct temperature measurement and
alignment.
3 Scan controls. A single click on the circular button switches the
SPOT LED on or off. A longer press or double click triggers a scan.
Click on the arrow buttons to move the actuator by a single step to
left or right. Click on the desired position on the graph for a larger
move.
4 Save data. Allows you to save the displayed temperature data as a
*.csv file.
5 Opens the Display Settings screen. See Section 4.5.3.
6 Opens the Webserver Settings screen. See Section 4.5.2.
