“Minimum tank
level reached”
1. Caused by the minimum tank level
being exceeded. Refer to Factory default
settings for min tank level
.
1. Number of Dialysis machines being
heat disinfected exceeds pre-set
value.
2. System or unit leak during “Draw
off period”.
3. Unauthorized draw off from point
on the loop during draw off period.
4. Faulty pressure transducer in tank.
1. Check with technicians that the number
of machines being disinfected does not
exceed the default value loaded in
“User
Set up”
menu.
2. Check for leaks in treatment area and
on the Heatsan.
3. Check with technicians and nursing
staff that only water is drawn off by
dialysis machines during heat
disinfection.
4. Remove Din connector from pressure
transducer and look for signs of
corrosion.
“Manual
Heatsan abort”
1. Remote key switch or manual override
via touch screen being activated.
1. This message is for information

fault condition.
1. The system will automatically complete
its cool-down phase and return the
system to normal operation for dialysis
within approximately 30-60 minutes.
“Heatsan
aborted until
following day”
1. Heatsan Abort button in alarm menu
was pressed while the system was in
“Standby”
1. This message is for information
only and not linked to any specific
fault condition.
2. Check if the clinic is operating on a
day that is not normally scheduled.
1. System will allow the alarm to be
cleared 24 hr after the button has been
pressed. If accidently pressed, the power
can be cycled then the alarm can be
cleared.
“Low water
temperature”
1. Temperature transmitter in return line
detects water temperature below
minimum disinfection temperature
setting.
1. Heater/s fault.
2. Loop failure, loss of water.
3. Insulation breakdown.
4. Temperature limits changed.
5. Check the data log to see when the
temperature dropped below 177 F
during hold period.
1. Check operation of heater/s, replace if
faulty.
2. Check for water loss from loop.
3. Check insulation on the loop and tank.
4. Check that sanitization temperature is
set to a value less than 177 F.
5. Check inside the control panel to verify
the breakers for the Heaters are not off.
“Excess water
loss during
Draw Off
period”
1. If during a period of one minute the
measured tank volume exceeds (# m/cs x
m/c draw rate + 2 gallons) during water
take off.
1. Number of machines connected
exceeds preprogrammed level.
2. The programmed draw rate for the
machines is incorrect.
1. Check user set up parameters for
number of machines.
2. Check set up parameters for draw rate
per machine.
