Ramp Handrail Assembly
INSTALL NOTE
: Rails are best installed after the ramp and platforms are set in place with the proper pitch.
•
BE SURE to install the handrail hardware BEFORE installing the legs.
•
When installing ramp handrails, it is best to start from the top on one side and work your way down one ramp
section at a time. Start by putting on one handrail post to the
3/8”

carriage bolts and LOOSELY put on
the flange nut.
•
By leaving this loose, it will allow you to pull the second handrail post away from the bolts to line them up. Keep-
ing these bolts loose as well allows the rail to slide along the Slotted
“

”
stringer with some assistance.
•
Don
’
t forget to go back and tighten each flange nut once you have every handrail where you need them.
Connect
each rail to the previous rail using the
5”
aluminum Sleeve Connector. The rail hardware
package includes (4) tubes with rubber
“
O
”
ring.
