The installer will determine the exact location based on the placement of the Anchor. They should be positioned near the
center of the ramp. The tie down should be installed on the underside of each ramp section. When your ramps are less
than
12”
above the ground, you can install the anchor
NEXT TO
the ramp section that you will secure, making sure the
anchor is in the center of the ramp section and is less than
4”
from the side of the ramp to keep it from being a tripping
hazard.
All platforms and ramp sections require one tie down each. Review the instructions on page 33 for proper installation.
WARNING
Prior to installing the anchor augers into the ground, ensure that any underground electrical con-
ductors, natural gas lines, water and drain lines or any other interferences are located and will not hinder the
installation.
We do recommend the customer/contractor to call the local utilities to provide a free (miss
dig) markings to insure proper placement of anchors.
Allow for
up to 10 days
for your local miss dig com-
pany to come out.
WARNING
The tie down installation should be completely inspected for any loose wire ropes, fasteners, and
anchor augers after being subjected to strong winds.
