9. Remove the 4 screws on the cut off (top of the evapo-
rator) and remove, Figure F.
10. Remove the two screws on the left side panel securing
the motor panel assembly. See Figure F.

11. Lift up on the right side of the fan motor assembly to
release the housing.
12. Slide the assembly to the right as you are looking at it,
and lift the assembly straight up.
13. Loosen the set screw on the blower wheel
14. Remove the three screws securing the motor to the
housing and remove the motor from the blower wheel.
15. Disconnect the blower motor wiring as follows:
White from capacitor C terminal
Red from control board FAN LOW terminal
Brown from capacitor FAN terminal
Black from control board FAN HIGH terminal
Gently pull the wire through the center partition.
The auto reset fan motor overload is designed to protect
the motor against high temperature and high amperage con-
ditions by breaking the common circuit within the motor,
similar to the compressor internal overload. However, heat
generated within the motor is faster to dissipate than the
compressor, allow at least 45 minutes for the overload to
reset, then retest.
WARNING
