ATW Extended responses
This command checks which information is sent after the CONNECT message.
(see also S95 description).
0 -
The terminal speed follows after the CONNECT message
1 - Subsequently, the modem gives the line speed, the error correction protocol,
and the terminal speed
2 - The line speed follows after the CONNECT message (default)
N.B. The setting of S-register 95 overrides the setting of the ATW command.
AT&W Save actual configuration
The current active settings (profile) are stored in the permanent memory.
Two different sets of settings can be stored.
0 -
Store the current profile as profile 0
1 - Store the current profile as profile 1

ATX Dial and busy tone recog responses
This command determines whether there is only a CONNECT message or a CONNECT
+ speed message. The dialtone and busy tone recognition can also be switched off.
This is used when blind dialling is required.
When the dialtone recognition has to be used while this is switched off, a ‘W’ can be
included in the telephone number.

ATY Long space disconnect
Enables or disables the long space disconnect.
0 -
Disable long space disconnect (default)
1 - Enable long space disconnect
In non-error corrected mode, the modem sends a ‘space’ of 4 seconds before
going off-line. If the modem receives a ‘space’ of at least 1.6 seconds, the
connection is terminated.
