AT\D Dumb mode
Use this command to enable dumb-mode. When dumb-mode is enabled the modem
does react to any characters from the serial port. AT-commands are not recognized and
calls can not be aborted.

Disable dumb-mode
1 - Enable dumb-mode
If you want to make the dumb-mode a default setting you should use this command:
AT\D1&W <CR>
ATE Local echo
The modem enables or disables the echo of characters to the terminal.

Switch echo off
1 - Switch echo on (default)
AT%E Select ‘auto retrain’ option
0 - Disable line quality monitor and auto-retrain
1 - Enable line quality monitor and auto-retrain
2 - Enable line quality monitor and fallback/fall-forwar d
3 - Enable line quality monitor and auto-retrain, but hangup immediately when
line-quality is insufficient
AT&F Factory settings
With this command, the modem will load the factory settings.
These settings are mentioned at each AT command and in the survey of the S registers.
The term ‘default’ indicates that it is a factory setting.

1 - Select Asynchronous Leased-line profile
2 - Select Synchronous Leased-line profile
AT&G Select guard tone
The modem will use the selected guard tone.

1 - Guard tone off
2 - 1800Hz guard tone on (default)
ATH Hook on/off

The modem goes off the line and breaks off a possible test (AT&T)
1 - When the modem is off-line, it will switch on-line and turn to the command
mode. The modem switches off-line again after the time set in S30
