8.3.
Shading compensation
In the camera, it uses Flat Field Compensation (FFC) for the shading compensation. It compensates Dark
Signal Non-Uniformity (DSNU), Pixel Response Non-Uniformity (PRNU) and the shading occurred by used
lens and lighting in order for the luminance level of the image to be flat on entire area. The two
compensation data can be stored.

FFC (Flat Field Correction) setting method

Before FFC setting
FFC is required to set in the operating condition. The frame rate, exposure time and peltier temperature
should be set in advance according to conditions. If conditions are changed after the settings, it is
recommended to set again according to new conditions.
As for the setting of Peltier Temperature, it may take time. It is possible to check the current temperature
by “DeviceTemperature” command. Refer to
step2
