7.2. Settings for CameraLink
In this chapter, the frame grabber board APX-3302 (AVAL DATA corporation) and SDK-AcapLib2
(Model:AZP-ACAPLIB2-01) are used for the description.
In order to control the camera, a general RS232C communication toll, “Tera Term” is used.

Set the camera power ON and set PC power ON.

After Windows is started up, select [Start] → [AVALDATA] → [SDK-AcapLib2] and start up
“AcapLib2Viewer”.

Select “APX - 33**”
→
“No.*”
→
“CH1” , push “Load” button and display ini file select dialog.

Select “ABA - 003IR.ini” or “ABA -001 IR.ini” and click “OK” button.

The viewer will open. There are two buttons to start capturing, one is “ Grab” button and the
other is “ Snap” button. The Grab is to capture the moving image and the Snap is to capture the
still image.

To push “ File” button is to store the image.
