6. Setting
6.1. Connecting to Gigabit Ethernet and settings
6.1.1. Network settings
In order to connect camera to the network, the following address information must be set properly.

IP Address
･
Subnet Mask
･
Default Gate Way
IMPORTANT
In this settings, IP of camera and IP of Host PC must have the same subnet mask.
The setting way for the address information can be selected from the following three methods.
･
Use Persistent IP (User-specified IP)
･
Use DHCP

Automatically assigned by DHPC server
）
･
Use Link Local Address
（
LLA
） （
Camera automatic assigned IP
）
Use Persistent IP
If the IP address for the camera connected to the network is already assigned, Persistent IP can be used.
When Persistent IP is use, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway should also be set.
Use DHCP
The cammera has a function to acquire IP address automatically through communication with DHCP
server. If this function is used, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway also uses the value automatically
assigned by DHCP server.
Use LLA
If Persistent IP is not used and it is not possible to acquire IP address from DHCP server when DHCP
server is ON or OFF, IP address is assigned by LLA. IP address assigned by LLA is 169.254.XXX.ZZZ and
XXX and ZZZ are automatically assigned.
In case if TConfigurator in SDK-TransFlyer is used
The following shows if TConfiguration is used for operating ABA-003IR-GE/ABA-001IR-GE.
A) Auto IP: Set automatically IP of the camera (LLA: Local Link Address) for Local Network.
This is a default setting.
B) DHCP: Set the IP address of the camera on every startup (Active Host setting Address) by DHCP
server on the Network. Default setting: OFF
C) Static IP (Fixed IP): Set an arbitrary address for the camera IP address. Default setting: OFF
D) Assign (Forced Address Setting): Force to allocate the camera IP address. Default setting: OFF
Note:
It is recommended to use Static IP for multi camera connection.
