CAUTION
Disassembly of the return air intake grille.
Danger of injury due to rotating parts. Hands can be jammed.
▪ The return air intake grille is mounted fixed and may only be removed by qualified staff.
– Clean floor shelf and surfaces inside.
– Remove food residues, such as spilled liquids, and packaging waste.
– Clean external surfaces of the unit (side walls, equipment frames).
– Clean glass surfaces.

– Also clean the associated plastic bezels. Do not apply large amounts of cleaning agent to these
surfaces.
NOTICE
Material damage due to improper cleaning.
Damage to the surface of plastic bezels.
▪ There must not be any detergent residues on the plastic bezels.
▪ Always clean plastic bezels again with clean water.
– Dry all cleaned surfaces and components.
– Hook in cleaned shelf displays.
CAUTION
Improper assembly of the display shelves.
Danger of injury due to falling of display shelves loaded with goods.
▪ The bracket for the display shelves and the display shelves must fully engage in the slots pro-
vided during suspension.
– Clean the floor in front of the unit.
10.1.3 Main cleaning
Responsibility
:
The main cleaning is an intensive cleaning and must only be performed by AHT-authorized and
trained cleaning companies.
Cleaning interval:
– At least once a year or
– according to separate maintenance agreement between AHT and the customer.

:
Follow the separate cleaning manual.
This is available at the qualified staff and AHT-authorized cleaning companies.
11 Maintenance, service and repairs
Maintenances-, service and repair work on the unit must only be performed by qualified staff.

Work on the electrical system and refrigerant circuit.
Contact with live parts may cause electric shock. Flammable refrigerant can escape and create an
explosive gas/air mixture. Risk of fire due to sparks or overloading.

1. Disconnect the unit.
2. Secure the unit against restarting.
▪ During repairs, a knowledgeable person who knows the local conditions must be available, as
the contact person, for the authorized AHT experts.
▪ Recommissioning and functional testing must only be performed by qualified staff.
