Testing in Simulate Mode - Section 4

Testing Services Using the Keypad 

The Keypad facility is an alternative way to test
supplementary services. You use it to send coded requests
to the network to initiate and test the operation of
specific services. The actual codes you send depend on
the network you are testing - for details, consult the
service provider.
You can use the Keypad before connection or during a
test call.

Ø

From an existing connected call, choose 

CONNECT

KEYPAD

 from the Connect menu.

OR

Ø

From the Main menu, when there is no call

connected, choose 

KEYPAD

 displays a bearer capability selection screen.

Highlight the bearer capability you require and

press 

SELECT

If you choose a voice type call, aurora

selects the Codec.

Enter a code of up to 20 characters.

Use the arrow keys to highlight a character from the
display and press

 to choose it. Use the keypad

to enter digits, and the
