6. Tighten nylon ties to secure tank in place.
7. Use wire cutter to remove excess nylon tie after
tightening.
4. Thread nylon ties under tank mounting plate and
center in position.
5. Install foam rubber pad for fuel tank to rest on.
Foam rubber will help prevent fuel from foam-
ing or getting air bubbles from engine vibration.
9. Use a 17/64” drill bit to slightly enlarge the fuel
dot sleeve as shown. This will allow easier re-
moval of the fuel dot during refueling.
10. Glue the fuel dot into the predrilled hole inside
the fuselage. This mounting location will require
the removal of the canopy for refueling.
11. Feed filler line through dot and plug line into
filler plug as shown.
12. Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the
end of the fuel line. This will allow it to plug
into the fuel dot easily.
8. Gather the fuel filler dot as shown.
