8.10 Heating System Pressure Test
If the pressure inside the heating circuit falls below the minimum pressure for the system, the
appliance switches off and the display shows Err 59 to indicate that it is necessary to restore the
correct pressure. Open t
he filling valve and check the pressure on the pressure gauge “M” of
Figure 8-1. Err 59 will disappear when the pressure is back at the right value. To prevent
acci
dental relief valve openings, fill the heating circuit slowly.
This value is adjustable via parameter 3022.
CAUTION!
Continual fresh make-up water will reduce boiler life. Mineral
buildup in the heat exchanger reduces heat transfer, overheats
the stainless steel heat exchanger, and causes failure. Addition of
oxygen carried in by makeup water can cause internal corrosion in
system components. Leaks in boiler or piping must be repaired at
once to prevent makeup water entering the boiler.
