Chapter 7: Monitoring and managing the Remote DocTransport Server

To route faxes as inbound faxes to any server on your
network, select
Receive into fax server
, and then enter the
Server Name
(up to 47 characters) or the IP address.
To include a TTI line on the fax, select
Insert TTI
, and then
specify the
Fax ID
that should appear in the TTI line.
l
If the RightFax server has multiple transports, to select one
of the transport methods as the fax destination, select
Send
via transport
, and then select the
Transport Name
from the
list.

To set time and day to balance fax loads
1. Click
Time and Day
to specify time periods for each day or use
the quick set buttons to apply common time restriction settings.
2. Specify the time periods for each day of the week that the rule
will be applied.
l
On each applicable day, enter
hh-hh
(24-hour format).
l
On days when the rule should not be applied, delete existing
entries and leave the box blank.
3. In
Quick Sets
, select from these settings:
l
All Times
(default) applies 00-23 from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59
every day.
l
Weekend
applies 00-23 to Saturday and Sunday and
removes all weekday settings.
l
Weekdays
applies 00-23 to Monday through Friday and
removes all weekend settings.
l
Peak Times
applies 00-18 to Monday through Friday and
removes all weekend settings.
l
Never
removes all settings.
To select Special Actions
1. Click
Special Actions
.
2. Do any of the following:

To process faxes without delay on any available channel,
select
No special action
.
l
To send faxes only on certain channels, select
Send on
specific range of channels
, and then enter the
Start
channel
and
End channel
.
l
To prevent faxes from sending based on attributes such as
time and day or number pattern, select
Disallow sending
.
l
To prevent faxes from sending based on attributes such as
time and day or number pattern, but allow faxes to be sent at
a time not restricted by Time and Day settings, select
Reschedule after disallow sending
.
l
To delay a send time, select
Delay fax to specific time
, and
then enter or select the time in
HHMM
format (for example, to
delay the fax until 7:15 PM, enter
0715
).
l
To delay a send time for a specific number of minutes, select
Delay fax for a specific interval
, and then enter the number
of minutes to delay.
To set DnD Notifications
1. Click
DnD Notifications
.
2.
Select
the check boxes of users you want to be notified when a
fax is blocked.
l
You can type a string in the search box to filter the list, and
then select users from the filtered list.
