Chapter 6: Connecting the Remote DocTransport Server to the RightFax Server
After you specify the connection information for your RightFax and
MSMQ servers, you must make changes to permission settings: either
on the Remote DocTransport Server or on the RightFax server.
Depending on your setup, making the changes on the RightFax
server—rather than each Remote DocTransport Server—can save
time.
To specify the RightFax server and MSMQ server
1. Sign in to RightFax on the Remote DocTransport Server. See
Signing in to the RightFax administration program on page 6 .
2. In the left pane, click System , and then expand RightFax
Settings .
When you first access this setting, rfrdts appears under
RightFax Server. After you specify the connection information
for your RightFax server, its IP address or name appear instead.
3. Click ( ... ) to change the connection information.
4. In the RightFax server address box, enter the IP address or
name of the RightFax server.
5. Under MSMQ Server , click Same as RightFax server or, to
specify a different MSMQ server, click Use this MSMQ server ,
and then enter the MSMQ server address .
6. Click Test Connection to Server .
7. When the test is successful, click OK .
8. To only receive faxes and not send faxes, select the Ignore
outbound fax queue check box.
To change permission settings
Do either of the following:

On the RightFax server, in Administrative Tools>Computer
Management>Services and Applications>Message Queuing, grant
the anonymous_logon account Full Control permission for the
following RightFax-related MSMQ queues:

faxserver_receivedfax
l
faxserver_sendfax
l
faxserver_sendstatus
l
On each Remote DocTransport Server, change the permission for
the appliance from Local System account to a Domain account that
is a member of the local Administrators group, and then change the
settings for the following RightFax services to run under that same
Domain account:
l
RightFax DocTransport Module
l
RightFax RPC Server Module
