Table F‑2. Converter box and analog box UPP commands (Continued)

Parameter

Command

Description

The converter box responds with a 2-digit value
from

00

 to

08

 identifying the number of sensor

heads connected.

Display
orientation

<AA>ro<VAL>

Sets the orientation of the converter box built-in
display.

Valid values are 0 to 3.

  0 = 0°

  1 = 270°

  2 = 180°

  3 = 90°

Automatic
addressing

<AA>AD<VAL>

Automatically sets the sensor head address for
all connected sensor heads.

Valid values are 0 to 2.

  0 = Disables automatic addressing (the

converter box responds with

no

)

  1 = Sets the address of all connected sensor

heads in the order shown on the converter
box display or in the Infra600 software (A1
to A8)

  2 = Resets all sensor head addresses

Automatic
addressing
option

<AA>AA<VAL>

Toggles the automatic addressing function of the
converter box.

Valid values are 0 and 1.

  0 = Disable automatic addressing

  1 = Enable automatic addressing

Repeat request

<AA>rp<VAL>

Defines how often a request to a sensor head
is repeated (in case of no response or a wrong
answer) before an error message is shown
(timeout).

Valid values are 00 to 99.

Restart
converter box

<AA>re

Restarts the converter box (does not affect any
settings).

Read
PROFINET
address

<AA>ip

Reads the address of the PROFINET module
(8-digit hexadecimal ACSII).
