Table F‑2. Converter box and analog box UPP commands (Continued)
Parameter
Command
Description
Switch contact
threshold
<AA>s1<VAL>
For analog box with
multiple connections,
specify the analog out:
<AA>s1sX<VAL>
Sets the threshold temperature for the switch
contact on the converter box. The set value
represents a temperature in the selected
temperature scale (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
and must be within the basic temperature
measurement range of the sensor head.
Valid values are 4-character hexadecimal.
Switch contact
status
<AA>sh<VAL>
For analog box with
multiple connections,
specify the analog out:
<AA>shsX<VAL>
Reports the current status of the switch contact
on the converter box.
0
= Contact is not switched (open relay)
1
= Contact is switched (closed relay)
Hysteresis
<AA>hl<VAL>
For analog box with
multiple connections,
specify the analog out:
<AA>hlsX<VAL>
Sets hysteresis for the switch contact on the
converter box using a 2-character hexadecimal
value. The set value represents a temperature
in the selected temperature scale (Celsius or
Fahrenheit).
Valid temperature is 2°C to 20°C (4°F to 36°F)
Read sensor data
<AA>se<VAL>
Show or hide error messages on the converter
box display for the switch contact.
Valid values are 0 and 1.
0 = Off
1 = On
Read internal
converter box
temperature
<AA>gt
Reports the internal temperature of the converter
box.
The converter box responds with a 4-digit value
in °C or °F, rounded to one decimal place.
For example, a response of
0505
= 50.5°.
1-wire search
<AA>os
Reports the number of sensor heads connected to
the converter box. This is automatically done on
initial power-up of the converter box and every
time the power is cycled.
The converter box responds with a 2-digit value
from
00
to
08
identifying the number of sensor
heads detected.
1-wire count
<AA>oc
Reports the current number of sensor heads
connected to the converter box.
