Adding Unit as Data Drive

System initialization is required when adding a new drive as a data drive in a current ArrayMasStor
configuration.  Adding a data drive is possible when a spare drive is already assigned and one or two
drives are added into the system.

This menu appears when a drive is added into the ArrayMasStor.
Press the select button to continue.

A password is necessary to change the ArrayMasStor’s configuration.
For instructions on how to enter the password, refer to section 4.9.1,
Entering the Password.

Press the up and down buttons to display the “ADD DRIVE&INIT”.

Press the select button to continue or the cancel button to return to the
main menu.

To assign the new drive as data drive, press the select button.

Once confirmed the ArrayMasStor is ready to be reconfigured.  Refer
section 4.9.4, Reconfigure for instructions.

 IMPORTANT !

During initialization all user data is erased.

 It is strongly

recommended that data be backed up before initialization.
