Changing the UNIX C/H/S Mode
The UNIX C/H/S mode corrects errors encountered with UNIX operating systems that incorrectly
recognize the total capacity of the ArrayMasStor. This error causes the operating system to recognize
a storage capacity of less than the actual 53.94 GB that is available in RAID Level 5. To access the
full capacity of the ArrayMasStor in a UNIX environment, set this mode on.
IMPORTANT !
Back-up all data on the ArrayMasStor before changing the UNIX
C/H/S mode. Changing this mode might result in data loss.
From the change configuration menu, use the up or down button to
display UNIX C/H/S. Press the select button to access this menu.
Use the up or down button to choose ON or OFF, and then press the
select button to enable or disable the UNIX C/H/S mode.
To confirm the change, press the select button, or press the cancel
button to return the display to the previous menu without changing
the UNIX C/H/S mode.
MODE CHANGED appears to confirm that the change has been
made. Press the select button to return to the change configuration
menu.
The UNIX C/H/S setting has now been changed. Press the cancel
button to return to main menu.
