(IC19). The resulting analogue signal is fed to PL16, which is the low-level (DIN) audio output connector.

The same signal is also fed to a pre-set potentiometer (VR1), which acts as a volume control for the

internal power amplifier of the computer. This power amplifier is a low supply voltage device, type LM386

(IC19).
