6.11 Email (SMTP)
Users can send emails for alarm triggering. To do this on the AcuLink 810 users must con-
figure the SMTP server and credentials.
To configure the Email setting, select 'Email' under the 'Configuration' menu on the left
panel of the interface.
The user must first configure their SMTP server settings and details in order for the gate
-
way to send the emails.
• Email Server:
Enter the SMTP Server for the email account.
• Email Port:
Enter the outgoing port number the SMTP uses to send emails.
• TLS/SSL:
Select Auto/On/Off for the email's server. Please select Auto if the security
setting of the server is unknown.
• Sender Name:
Enter a sender name for the email
• From Email Address:
Enter the email address that will be in the from field of the email
• Username:
Enter the email address for where the emails will be coming from
• Password:
Enter the password for the email address in Username
Click 'Save' once all the settings are entered in correctly.
