Access data must be kept secret by the user. In particular, the user must ensure that no
unauthorised third party obtains knowledge of their password. The user is also obliged to use
the application exclusively within the framework of these terms of use.
The user undertakes to inform ABUS Security Center immediately if and insofar as they
become aware or suspect that unauthorised third parties have knowledge of the login data
assigned to them or created by them. The user shall also immediately change the login data
assigned to them and the login data created by them or have it reset by ABUS Security Center
after showing proof of their identity if they suspect that unauthorised third parties may have
knowledge of this login data.
The user will not install any software on their end device or modify the application in such a
way that is suitable for intercepting, modifying, recording or unauthorised storage of data
from ABUS Security Center or other users in the course of using the application or on a system
connected to it.
13.5
Warranty and liability
For the free use of the application, ABUS Security Center does not assume any guarantee for
the proper functioning and permanent availability of the application.
Any liability for damages on the part of ABUS Security Center with the provision of the free
application, irrespective of the legal grounds, shall be limited, to the extent permitted by law,
to cases of intent or gross negligence.
In the case of chargeable use and chargeable app functionalities that are offered or advertised
as a product feature of hardware products sold by ABUS Security Center, the statutory
warranty conditions apply with the proviso that the app is sufficiently tested and has the
specified functions.
13.6
Data protection
The current data protection regulations apply.
ABUS Security Center complies with the applicable data protection regulations when
collecting, using and processing personal data.
The user consents to ABUS Security Center's collection, processing and use of personal data
in compliance with the relevant laws in order to make the use of the application possible and
accessible to the user.
The operator is the entity responsible for ensuring the legally compliant use of the product in
accordance with the GDPR.
ABUS Security Center strives to continuously improve the use and functions of the application.
Optimisations in this regard are made through updates, which are downloaded and installed.
The user agrees to receive news and notices about these optimisations.
13.7
Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
The place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of ABUS Security Center.
