A 9 Maintenance and cleaning
1 Lay out the hose assembly (3) in a straight position.
2 Disconnect central plug (2) from the feed unit.
3 Screw in support sleeve (1) .
4 Remove the old spiral liner (6) and replace it with a new one and insert the
non-insulated side into the central plug (2) as far as it will go.
5 Place the support sleeve (1) turned by 180° onto the new spiral liner (6)
(side without thread).
6 Cut off the protruding guide spiral liner (6) flush with the support
sleeve (1) .
7 Screw collet chuck (4) onto the spiral liner (6) as far as it will go.
The position of the wire guide can be checked through the sight hole of the
collet chuck
(5) .
8 Slide collet chuck (5) and spiral liner (6) into the central plug (2) as far as
they will go.
9 Slide support sleeve (1) with thread first side into the central plug (2) and
tighten it.
10 Attach hose assembly (3) to central plug (2) using the retaining
nut (4) .
9.3 Cleaning the torch neck
In order to increase the system availability of the welding robot,
ABICOR BINZEL offers the option of automated torch cleaning.
1 Remove gas nozzle.
2 Remove welding spatter and spray gas nozzle with the ABICOR BINZEL
anti-spatter agent.
